The Working Holiday Agreement (WHA) Programme is an initiative by the Irish and Argentine Governments which allows up to 100 young Argentine people annually to take extended holidays in Ireland for up to a year, and to take employment as an incidental aspect of this holiday. The aim of the scheme is to introduce young Argentines to the people, culture and landscape of Ireland and to allow them to work and study English or Irish there, while taking extended holidays. Participants will have one year from date of issue of the authorisation to enter Ireland.
Such is the amount of WHA applicants to date that the WHA programme for 2013 is currently not accepting new submissions. Please continue to review this webpage as there may be a possibility that some new applications may be accepted later in 2013.
WE REGRET THAT IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO RESPOND TO TELEPHONE QUERIES OR DEAL WITH PERSONAL CALLERS TO THE EMBASSY.
